Lena Schmid-Tupou has been studying Fine Arts and Painting at HBK Braunschweig in Germany where she received her Meisterschüler title as a student of Professor Olav Christopher Jenssen. Before that she had been studying Illustration at HAW Hamburg in Germany and Visual Arts with a major in Painting at Unitec in Auckland, New Zealand. She graduated with a Diplom in Fine Arts from HBK Braunschweig and with a Bachelor and a Master of Arts in Illustration at HAW Hamburg in Germany.
Lena is active in ProjektKLUB since its founding in 2018.
She was a cofounder of the artist group Tapir&Klotz and has been a member from 2012 until 2017. From 2012 until 2014 Lena has been a member of the editorial staff of LUKS Magazine.
She is currently living and working in Braunschweig, Germany and in Hamilton, New Zealand.
